Founded in 1988, The Brennan Company originally served as a “turnaround specialist” for such entities as the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Sunbelt Savings, NCNB, MBank, Texas Commerce Bank as well as numerous other banks, savings and loans, and financial institutions. By developing and successfully implementing business plans and management and leasing strategies, our firm quickly established a reputation and track record for creating and enhancing value in distressed and foreclosed office buildings and shopping centers during the late 1980s and early 1990s. During that time period, The Brennan Company was successful in turning around more than 75 office buildings and shopping centers totaling more than three million square feet.

Beginning in 1994, The Brennan Company began to focus on the formation of joint ventures and limited partnerships for the purpose of acquiring undervalued and underperforming commercial real estate investment properties. The company has since expanded its services and expertise to include the development of retail properties, asset-based lending, 1031 exchange consulting, brokerage and acquisition of distressed commercial debt and REO properties.
